Manatees! You might've been down in my neck of the woods.
We were in a lot of necks in a lot of woods. Crystal River, Rainbow Springs, Honeymoon Island, and Cedar Key were some of the Florida highlights, but we also spent time in Savanah, and on the way back came into North Carolina via the mountains and spent an evening and much of a day in Chimney Rock. Sadly, we didn't write down our mileage before we started! But, Cheryl's hybrid gets about 500 miles to the tank, and we filled it up at least three times I can remember.
